Cloud Native Kisumu

Our mission is to cultivate a thriving, interconnected cloud-native community in Kisumu while demystifying open-source technologies through hands-on practice. We bring engineers together to collaborate, mentor, and build sustainable local technical capacity across Western Kenya.

What We Focus On

Community Growth & Mentorship: Connecting developers, students, and seasoned practitioners to share knowledge, collaborate across projects, and build a supportive peer network.

Practical Engineering: Applying cloud-native tooling, edge computing, and IoT to address pressing regional challenges.

Ecosystem Leadership: Empowering local talent to grow from technology consumers into active open-source contributors, speakers, and project maintainers within the global CNCF landscape.
