Recently accepted as a CNCF Sandbox project, CAIPE makes AI agents accessible to platform engineers, SREs, developers, and teams across an organization. Its rich web experience brings together streaming chat, a visual Agent Builder, reusable skills, connected knowledge, and agentic apps and dashboards.
This session explores how CAIPE custom agents, autonomous agents, and agentic apps improve developer productivity. Through practical demos, we’ll show agents reviewing pull requests, launching coding workflows from issues, and investigating operational alerts. Teams can interact directly with agents or automate work through schedules and autonomous agents, then inspect results and provide human input when needed.
We’ll demonstrate built-in MCP connectors and external MCP integrations, with access through the web UI, Slack, Webex, the CAIPE CLI, and APIs. We’ll also introduce the new CAIPE Harness Engine architecture for using multiple agent runtimes and highlight how OpenFGA authorization, gateway enforcement, and audit trails govern access to agents, tools, and knowledge.
