| Description : Talk is about Basics of Distributed Tracing, and deep dive into Tempo.
Distributed Tracing is the core part of the modern observability stack. In this talk, I Introduce the audience to Distributed Tracing, How it works?, where they can use Distributed Tracing, and ways to use TraceQL to get insights from Traces.
Talk goes into the motivation behind building Tempo, and Its Architecture, how we built TraceQL, and finish off with a demo to showcase TraceQL.

Effective Deployment and Management of Kubernetes
in-personSpeaker: Lakshmi Narasimhan | Description: There are a dozen ways to install Kubernetes and run day-2 operations like upgrading the cluster, scaling it etc. In this talk I'll walk you through various ways of setting up Kubernetes, including, but not limited to Kops, Terraform, Kubespray and ClusterAPI.
The highlight of our talk will be a deeper dive into ClusterAPI, an exciting project that brings declarative, Kubernetes-style APIs to cluster creation, configuration, and management. We will discuss its architecture, how it integrates with other tools and platforms, and its role in simplifying the lifecycle management of Kubernetes clusters.
You are expected to have a basic knowledge of Kubernetes. This talk is ideal for you if you are in charge of maintaining infrastructure in your organization.
You will leave with a comprehensive understanding of these tools, equipped with the knowledge to choose the right tool for maintaining your Kubernetes clusters.
