We are looking for community members to give a 5-min Lightning Talk (LT) at CNCF Sustainability Month Tokyo 2026.
You can share:
- A new idea or experiment
- A challenge or lesson learned
- A topic you'd like to spark discussion around
No finished project is required — new ideas and open questions are welcome!

本イベントは、TAG for Operational Resilienceが主催する Cloud Native Sustainability Month 2026 の一環として開催されるローカルミートアップです。Cloud Native Sustainability Monthは、CNCFのTAGが毎年共同で開催する、クラウドネイティブおよびオープンソース分野における環境持続可能性の促進を目的とした、世界規模のローカルイベントです。これは、2023年にTAG for Environmental Sustainabilityによって開始されたCloud Native Sustainability Weekを引き継ぐイベントです。
今年は、KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Japan 2026のJapan Community Dayで行ったCNCFにおける環境サステナビリティの議論をさらに発展させ、CNCFのサステナビリティコミュニティにおける最近の活動やプロジェクト、コミュニティグループ間の連携などについて、アップデートを共有しながら議論することを予定しています。
さらに、Lightning Talk（LT）のCall for Speakerを開始し、新しいアイデア、プロジェクト、実験、課題、取り組みなど、環境サステナビリティに関するさまざまなテーマをコミュニティから募集します。ぜひ、最新の活動を知り、アイデアを共有し、これからのCloud Nativeにおけるサステナビリティについて一緒に考えましょう。
This event is a local meetup held as part of Cloud Native Sustainability Month 2026, hosted under the TAG for Operational Resilience. Cloud Native Sustainability Month is a global series of local community-led events, co-organized annually by CNCF Technical Advisory Group (TAG), with a mission to promote environmental sustainability within the cloud native and open source ecosystems. It succeeds the original Cloud Native Sustainability Week launched in 2023 by the former TAG for Environmental Sustainability, prior to the TAG's reorganization.
This year, we plan to build on the discussion around Environmental Sustainability in CNCF from Japan Community Day, co-located with KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Japan 2026. We will share and discuss updates on recent activities and projects within the CNCF sustainability community, as well as collaboration across community groups.
We also launch a Call for Speakers for Lightning Talks (LTs), inviting the community to share new ideas, projects, experiments, challenges, and other topics related to environmental sustainability.
Join us to learn about the latest activities, share your ideas, and explore the future of sustainability in the Cloud Native ecosystem together.
