🚀 Cloud Native Dakar - 2k26 Meetup #6 🎉
Join us for another Cloud Native Dakar Meetup of 2026, a community passionate about Cloud Native technologies and sponsored by the CNCF!
🔎 Topic: "More than 200 protocols, a single pipeline: building Traxelio from Dakar"
A GPS tracker is a small computer that speaks a protocol invented by its manufacturer, and there are more than 200 of them. This talk starts from the base (what is a protocol?) and goes through the entire architecture of Traxelio: ingestion rewritten in Go, async files, storage, alerting, billing, scaling. And why this plumbing is the basis of a fleet management company built from Dakar, for the world.
📢 About the speaker:
- Babacar Cissé Dia: Solutions Arcihtect
Founder of Traxelio, a fleet management platform (GPS equipment, data, invoicing) operated from Dakar and Toronto. Software architect, more than 10 years building distributed systems.
