This talk explores the role of developer platforms in the era of agentic software development for enterprises. AI is best understood as an amplifier, AI can dramatically increase the rate at which code, ideas, prototypes, and changes are produced, but enterprises do not win by producing more code. They win by turning change into reliable, secure, compliant, production-ready outcomes.

This exposes weaknesses in delivery systems, governance, and developer experience. A strong developer platform addresses exactly those areas utilizing concepts like self-service, golden paths, and reduced cognitive load. The session will also include a demo of such a developer platform from CNCF fabric(OpenChoreo) demonstrating how a developer platform can project the amplification from development to actual production gains.
