We are excited to host the 8th edition of the Cloud Native Computing Linz meetup!

- Moritz Wanzenböck is a software engineer interested in the inner workings of cloud infrastructure and automation. After years of working with storage solutions as a user, Moritz switched sides in 2020 to work on software defined storage solutions at LINBIT. He is a maintainer of the Piraeus project, always on the lookout to automate more features.

Moritz Wanzenböck - Cloud-Native Storage: What it can and can't (yet) do

Piraeus is a simple yet flexible storage system for Kubernetes, recently accepted into the CNCF sandbox. Moritz will give an overview of the project, and use it to demonstrate the benefits along with current short-comings of cloud-native storage solutions. This talk will help you understand how cloud-native storage works and what you can expect from it in the future.
