About this event

We are excited to host the 5th edition of the Cloud Native Computing Linz meetup!

--------- The Speakers ---------

  • Karthik S. is one of the maintainers of the CNCF sandbox project LitmusChaos. He is passionate about all things Kubernetes, and is generally interested in DevOps, storage performance/benchmarking & chaos engineering.

- Michael Aufreiter is the founder of Ken, a soon to be launched new medium for exchanging knowledge gained from personal experiences.

--------- The Talks ---------

Karthik Satchitanand - Observability & Declarative Hypothesis in Chaos Engineering

Observability is a hard pre-requisite for chaos engineering, with a need to track the happenings at both the target application as well as chaos control plane levels. In this talk, we will discuss some standard techniques and frameworks that the litmuschaos OSS project makes use of as part of the ongoing observability efforts.

Michael Aufreiter - Can I develop and run a writing platform in the cloud as a single person?

Michael had this one brilliant idea last fall, which he wanted to bring to life. The challenge: Develop and launch a marketplace for user-generated articles within a few months, using Cloud technologies. He is still on this journey and would like to share his experiences.

Meetup will be via Zoom, please respond to get the link to the call.
