    Talk #1 - Ankit Goel - Monitoring 100 million active series with Grafana Mimir

    We run a self hosted Grafana Mimir setup for monitoring the logistics vertical at DeliveryHero. In the last 2 years, we have migrated from VictoriaMetrics to Cortex to Grafana Mimir. In this talk, I would like to share our observability journey and how these tools help us to achieve our objectives. I would also share the details of our yaml based custom tooling for generating Grafana dashboards as well as the details of our alerting setup.

    Prometheus has the option to ingest sample timestamps instead of using its own scrape timestamps. Making use of this feature however is generally very much discouraged. In this talk I want to outline a use case where the honor timestamp feature was critical while also highlighting the downsides.
