Talk #1: How to Survive and Thrive in a Multicluster World by Ivan Porta

    in-person

Over the last few years, we’ve seen a shift in how organizations operationalize their Kubernetes clusters. Instead of huge, monolithic production clusters, we’re seeing a marked shift to multicluster Kubernetes environments, using entire clusters to isolate development teams or manage workloads.

The multicluster world can bring in dramatic wins for reliability and operational efficiency, but of course it has its challenges! In this talk, we’ll explore this fascinating world, from why the shift is happening, how to effectively use a service mesh and GitOps-style workflows to make multicluster secure, reliable, and observable, the pros and cons of multi-cloud rather than simple multicluster, and how new technologies like federated Services affect the multicluster world. Join us to learn how it all comes together!

  4. 8:00 PM +08

Lightning talk / Hiring / Buzzcorner

    in-person

Do you have anything to share quickly? You can step up spontaneously and share with us. Or if you're hiring for cloud (especially cloud native), you could share about that as well

Talk #2: Building Modern, Resilient Systems with NATS JetStream by Nrapendra Singh

    in-person

NATS JetStream is a high‑performance, lightweight streaming and persistence engine built directly into the NATS messaging platform. It enables applications to store, replay, and process events with strong delivery guarantees and extremely low overhead. In this session, we explore how JetStream simplifies reliable messaging, works seamlessly in microservices, and powers edge‑device scenarios like offline‑capable POS systems. We’ll walk through streams, consumers, retention models, and cross‑region replication using mirror and source streams. You’ll also learn how JetStream compares to heavier systems like Kafka in terms of simplicity, resource efficiency, and real‑world use cases. Whether you're building distributed apps, IoT solutions, or event‑driven systems, this session will give you practical insights into leveraging NATS JetStream for durability, scale, and ultra‑low latency communication.
