CNCF Community Timisoara Meet-Up - Summer 2026 Edition

The sun's out, the clusters are warm, and we're back for the Summer Edition of the CNCF Timișoara Meet-Up. We've got two talks lined up:

Mircea Adam is opening the evening with The Cluster Next Door: Multi-Site Kubernetes, Solar Power, Old Hardware & Cloud DR - a real, federated Kubernetes setup running across two homelabs in neighboring houses, stitched together with Karmada, with disaster recovery on AWS for when things get spicy. The hardware is recycled, the electricity comes from solar panels, and the workloads on top are the real thing.

Then Adelina Tuvenie takes over with NATS: Modern Messaging for Distributed Systems in a Multicloud World - this talk will begin with a brief introduction to NATS and it’s core messaging model and then dive into exploring how it can be used to power distributed applications across multicloud and hybrid environments
