About this event

We'll get you a cool drink and a slice of pizza – let's share stories, tricks and new cloud native tech!

The venue has AC, so it's also a cool place to hang out during the heatwave.

Talk #1 🪝 From Days to Minutes: How a Mutating Webhook fixed our CI resource-allocation problem

This is a story of operating a mixed-OS (Linux + Windows) legacy CI Kubernetes cluster where Jenkins buildpods, Selenium Grid nodes, and test instances were plagued by CPU throttling and OOM kills.

Alexey Gnetko is a Lead Engineer at Coupa Software, who is focused on distributed systems, platform reliability and engineering productivity.

Talk #2 🤖 Reliability from Manual to Autopilot

"AI SRE" today usually means an LLM bolted onto on-call — reactive troubleshooting with humans nudged in or out of the loop. But reliability spans the whole lifecycle: building resilient software, resource and release management, operations. Borrowing SAE's "levels of driving automation," this talk lays out a ladder from manual toil to full autonomy, so you can see where your team really stands and where AI actually helps (and where it doesn't).

Severin Neumann is Head of Community at Bronto and a member of the OpenTelemetry Governance Committee. He works on the CNCF TAG Operational Resilience framework for Levels of Service Reliability Automation.
