Agenda
  1. 10:00 AM IST

Does Security Have A Place In The Cloud Native Galaxy?

    in-person

Security is an outlier in the cloud native world. Some folks may take offense at this, but that is the unfortunate truth. In this session, I aim to educate cloud native engineers on the topic of security-first development, especially in an open source world. Software supply chain attacks are at an all-time high. Defaults are not secure enough in the containers world. Lots of ongoing work within the Security-TAG of the CNCF will be highlighted during this talk. Special focus will also be placed on the work of the OpenSSF (Open Source Security Foundation). Let's make our cloud native footprints safer!

    SPEAKERS
  2. 11:00 AM IST

    Observability for AI

    in-person

"AI systems don’t crash, they hallucinate. They don’t time out, they confidently give wrong answers. And while your dashboards show green, your chatbot might be inventing company policies! This talk goes beyond MELT metrics to cover the dimensions of AI observability that actually matter: token economics, hallucination detection, cost per inference, model drift, and how you define “correct” for a system that’s probabilistic by design. Expect real failure stories, a practical 10-point AI observability checklist, and a framework for shipping LLM applications you can actually trust in production. Because “it seems to be working” is not an SLO."
