About this event

Site Reliability Engineering is often discussed in terms of uptime, latency, and system health dashboards. But behind every metric is something far more important: the user experience. This session reframes SRE not as an infrastructure discipline, but as a direct extension of how users experience digital products in real life.

Every system failure-whether it is a slow API response, a failed login, or a full service outage-translates into a human consequence. A frustrated customer unable to complete a payment, a trader missing a critical market window a business losing trust in a financial platform that is expected to be always available and always correct. In financial organizations, these moments are not abstract technical incidents; they are disruptions that affect livelihoods, decisions, and confidence in the system itself.

We explore how SRE practices such as observability, incident response, error budgets, and SLOs are not just engineering tools, but mechanisms to protect user trust at scale. Reliability becomes more than system stability. It becomes the foundation of customer experience and business continuity.

By the end of this session, attendees will see that Site Reliability Engineering is not about keeping systems alive for the sake of uptime metrics. It is about ensuring that every interaction a user has with a system is predictable, trustworthy, and seamless. because every failure is ultimately a failure of experience, not just infrastructure.
