About this event

Let's start the 2024 season of Helsinki TODO Meetups in the office of Aiven.

The agenda is not final yet, but we plan to touch the following topics:

17:00 - 17:30: Gathering

17:30 - 18:00: Ahmed Sobeh (Aiven): Your OSPO is not only Yours: Working on 3rd Party OSS - In this session you will hear the story of the OSPO team at Aiven, an OSPO team that is a bit different, whose main mission is to ensure the sustainability of external OSS projects. Many organizations give financial support to OSS communities and that’s a great starting point, but communities are about people more than about money. You’ll gain insight into the origins and mission of the OSPO, the scope of its activities and how Aiven measures success and hires for roles like these.

18:00 - 18:30: Andreas Bäck (Wartsila): Developing software supply chain security through an OSPO (virtual session)

18:30 - 19:00: Martin von Willebrand (HH partners) and all the participants: Moderated discussion about EU's Cyber Resilience Act

19:00 onwards: food, drinks and socializing

Our event will be hosted in the offices of Aiven, thanks for the space, food and beverages.
