Welcome to the Zephyr Project in-person meetup in Hamburg, Germany on December 16, 2026, from 5:30PM - 9:00PM.
This meetup is hosted by House of AI Hamburg and Beecelle and will take place at House of AI Hamburg, Hongkongstraße 2, 20457 Hamburg, Germany.
This gathering is for anyone interested in open source, embedded systems programming, and software development. Join developers, engineers, students, and open source enthusiasts for a morning of technical learning and networking centered around the Zephyr RTOS ecosystem.
As the Zephyr Project celebrates its 10th anniversary, this meetup offers an opportunity to connect with fellow community members, hear from industry experts, and explore how Zephyr is used in embedded and edge computing applications.
Technical Sessions
This Zephyr Project meetup brings together embedded developers, industry experts, and community members to explore RTOS selection, product security, and practical system integration.
The programme includes a comparison of Zephyr with other RTOS; a discussion of the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and its relevance to embedded development; and insights into why companies choose Zephyr. It also explores communication between Zephyr devices and Debian-based systems, including integration approaches and data exchange, alongside Zephyr’s potential role as a real-time layer for Physical AI applications connecting sensing, computation, and actuation.
Companies will share experiences from real Zephyr projects, highlighting technical decisions, challenges, and lessons learned from prototype to production. The event provides opportunities for discussion, knowledge sharing, and networking within the embedded and open-source communities.
Whether you are an experienced embedded developer or just getting started, this meetup offers an opportunity to learn, exchange ideas, and connect with others working with Zephyr.
Seats are limited, so we encourage you to register early to secure your spot.
*Note: This meetup is part of the Zephyr Community Meetup Series, local gatherings hosted by community members with support from the Zephyr Project. *
